Two weeks ago the Swedish poker player Sofia Lövgren announced that she was leaving Team PKR Pro, where she had been a member for four years:
On her blog she told that something new and exciting was on its way: “I’m starting my next big adventure and within two weeks it will be official!” And now it is official: Lövgren and Canadian pro Xuan Liu are the newest members of 888poker Team Pro. Here they will join an amazing group of female players, that include the Australian WSOP bracelet winner Jackqueline Glazier and American Jessica Dawley. By adding two more women to their team, 888poker signals that they encourage women to play poker and give high priority to their female players.
Both Liu and Lövgren seem thrilled at the opportunity as they saluted each other on Twitter:

Liu is know for her tournament merits. in 2010 she won a PokerStars Italian Poker Tour tournament in San Remo for €48,000, and the year after she took third at EPT Sanremo Main Event for $524,075. Her biggest result came in 2012 when she had a fourth-place finish at the PCA for $600,000.
Even though Lövgren is primarily a cash game player, she is no stranger to tournaments. In 2013 she had a deep run in the High Roller at EPT London and right now she is on her first job representing 888poker in San Remo, where she plays day 1b of The Main Event. PokerNews caught up with Lövgren for the first interview as 888poker ambassador:
