Upcoming Superstar Kitty Kuo Wins Women’s Sunday

While Victoria Coren took down her historic win at EPT Sanremo Main Event the Taiwanese poker player and internet phenomenon Kuo Hui Chen, better know as Kitty Kuo, battled it out in Women’s Sunday at PokerStars. Kitty Kuo, who goes by the screen name “kittymstar” at PokerStars, entered the final table as the second largest stack and when the final card was dealt she was the last woman standing with $2,259 in her pocket.

Heads-up Kitty Kuo defeated “drkamikazel1” from Canada, a Women’s Sunday veteran, who only last week finished 4th in the tournament. Going into heads-up Kitty Kuo had a 2.5 to 1 chip advantage, and she held on to her lead until the very end, where drkamikazel1’s pair of nines could not hold up to Kitty Kuo’s as Kuo spiked an ace on the flop.

Kitty Kuo is now in Monte Carlo where she is taking some days off before the EPT Grand Final starts on Saturday.
